The article highlights the Airport’s involvement in improving multi-modal transit connections, especially in regards to regional rail and bus rapid transit (BRT) options. Amtrak and Metrolink both currently have Ventura Line stops at the Bob Hope Airport Train Station, and the Orange Line BRT connects the West Valley to the North Hollywood Red Line Station, only 3.3 miles from the Airport.
The Authority approved a $970,000 contract in January to acoustically treat 32 homes in the Airport’s Residential Acoustical Treatment Program (RATP).
